Lee Receives Research Grant from Iowa DOT

Transportation policy researcher Hosin "David" Lee received a $150,000 research grant from the Iowa Department Of Transportation to study asphalt pavement recycling along with researchers at Iowa State University. This summer, Lee plans to build a test section on Highway 6 in order to evaluate the performance of recycled asphalt pavement.

He also received recognition for his expertise in warm mix asphalt technolgoy from the Korea Institute of Construction Technology (KICT), who award him a 40,000,000 Won or $35,9000 research grant The president of KICT is scheduled to visit the Public Policy Center on Friday, May 24.
