Research Data Analyst Jason Wachsmuth's Abstract Accepted For the SAS Global Forum 2015

Body

Jason Wachsmuth, a research data analyst at the Public Policy Center, had an abstract accepted by the SAS Global Forum 2015.  SAS is system of software solutions that enable individuals to mine, alter, manage, and retrieve data from a variety of sources and perform statistical analysis on it.  The SAS Global Forum is an education-focused conference that brings together experts from around the world to learn, network, and share. Wachsmuth will be presenting his paper at the conference this spring.

Wachsmuth's Abstract:

Title:

Managing Files by Click and Drag?

Abstract:

File management is a tedious process that can be automated by using SAS to create and execute a Windows Command Script. The macro in this paper copies files from one location to another, identifies obsolete files by the version number, and then moves them to an archive folder. Assuming some basic conditions are met, this macro is intended to be easy to use and robust. Windows users that run routine programs for projects with rework may want to consider this solution.
