Momany appointed to Campus Climate Survey subcommittee

Body

Elizabeth Momany, assistant director of the Health Policy Research Program, has been invited to serve on the University of Iowa Anti-Violence Coalition Campus Climate Survey Subcommittee.

The subcommittee is charged with administering the next iteration of the campus climate survey, Speak Out Iowa. The survey asks students about their experiences with sexual misconduct—including sexual harassment, sexual violence, dating violence, and stalking—on campus, as well as their perceptions of the campus climate around sexual assault.

Momany will provide input for each of the elements of the subcommittee charge, including instrument modification, survey administration, data analysis and reporting. The appointment stems from Momany’s previous work in executing and reporting on sexual misconduct at the university through the Council on the Status of Women. Momany’s appointment lasts through May 31, 2018.
