PPC Poster is "Best Fit to Theme" at Governor's Conference

A PPC poster presented at the 2018 Iowa Governor's Conference on Public Health was given the "Best Fit to Theme" award. "Mapping Our Way to a Less Hungry Summer: Using Publicly Available Data to Visualize the Gap in Iowa Summer Feeding Locations," was created by Dr. Natoshia Askelson, research coordinator Felicia Pieper, research student Cristian Meier, and Stephanie Dross from the Iowa Department of Education. Pieper presented at the conference.

The Iowa Governor’s Conference on Public Health is intended for all Iowans who work in public health, environmental health, primary care, health promotion, health education and laboratory sciences. The theme of this year's conference was, "Our Changing Landscape: Strengthening Our Mission for the Future."
