Mueller cited in blog on 2018's Best & Worst States for Health Care

Keith Mueller, Gerhard Hartman Professor and Head, Department of Health Management and Policy at the UI College of Public Health, and PPC Health Policy researcher, was cited as an expert in a recent WalletHub blog on 2018’s Best & Worst States for Health Care.

WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia on different measures of cost, accessibility, and outcome. Mueller contributed information on the effects of lack of options in state-run insurance exchanges, how recently enacted health care reform has reshaped state systems, and tips for finding a balance between premium costs and levels of coverage.
