Peek-Asa and Berg Publish Chapter on Firearm Research Data Sources

Body

Corinne Peek-Asa, distinguished research fellow, and Mark Berg, director and senior research fellow, both in the Crime and Justice Policy Research Program, had their chapter "Data Sources for Firearm Research and Information" published in Gun Violence Prevention: A Public Health Approach. In it, they summarize sources of data that can be used to describe the incidence and characteristics of fatal and nonfatal firearm violence, including medical and law enforcement sources.

In addition, they have created a supplement/brief to the book chapter, which can be found here.
