Student Spotlight: Anna Holub
Anna is an undergraduate student from Urbandale, Iowa pursuing a major in elementary education with endorsements in reading and special education. She is receiving her teacher-leader certificate in ELL and is on track to complete a master's in special education in 2025. She was drawn to the teaching profession by an understanding of the importance of deepening and shaping the minds of the youth and growing their strengths.
Anna started working with the PPC in 2022 and now works as a supervisor in the call center under Dawn Bower, field manager for the ISRC. She has worked on research relating to health, human services, and government support in relation to those. She enjoys getting to hear the deep feelings and stories of the participants she interacts with from all across the country. Anna also works with Lisa Halm-Werner, survey data collection specialist, on various projects.
After graduating, Anna hopes to move to Colorado and teach somewhere close to the mountains.
