Julie Pacheco Co-Authors Article on Voter Registration in Clinical Settings


Julie Pacheco, program director of the Politics and Policy Research Program, recently published an article in Health Services Research demonstrating the link between political equity and health equity. Pacheco and her co-authors describe how a lack of access to American democratic processes such as voting contribute to existing countrywide health disparities. They argue that adding voter registration sites in healthcare settings may be a key intervention for promoting the health and well-being of underrepresented communities.
