Aimen Hameed

Aimen is a student at University of Iowa, pursuing her PhD in Educational Leadership. She is a graduate teaching assistant with the Public Policy center and Educational Leadership and Policy studies.  She aims to research and work on developing policies that for once and for all, eliminate gender and racial discrimination in education and by extension, eventually all other fields. Prior to joining the University of Iowa, Aimen completed her Undergraduate in Economics and Political Science along with a minor in Anthropology and Sociology from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan. She has worked on multiple projects and initiatives that support her goal of gender discrimination elimination and continues to include and contribute towards it wherever she can.
