Bob Dvorsky

Senator Bob Dvorsky is serving his fifth term in the Iowa Senate. He represents Senate District 15, which includes parts of Johnson and Linn counties. He previously served seven years as a State Representative in the Iowa House. Senator Dvorsky is chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee and also serves on the Education, Rebuild Iowa, and Rules & Administration committees. When not in the Legislature, Senator Dvorsky is an Executive Officer in the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services. He holds a BS and MPA from the University of Iowa. Senator Dvorsky serves as the board president for the Housing Trust Fund of Johnson County. He also serves on the board of Successful Living and the board of the Community Corrections Improvement Association. In 2007, Senator Dvorsky was awarded the Arthur Neu Award for Exceptional Policy Development by the American Parole & Probation Association. To visit Senator Dvorsky's web page, click here.
