Carter Tindell-Hall

Carter Tindell-Hall was adopted by two African American gay men when he was 10. As the oldest of eight children, he was bounced around in foster care for several years. During filming for Woke Up Black, Carter was finishing up his last year of high school while balancing his class studies, sports, and family life and trying to figure out his future.

Carter recently graduated from Lafayette College after spending a semester abroad in Spain and plans to continue his education and pursue a law degree to become a public defender. He is spending his summer studying for the LSAT.
