Daniel Kueter

Dan Kueter is CEO of UnitedHealthcare, Iowa and Central Illinois, a position he has held since March 2008. He is responsible for UnitedHealthcare business results in the Iowa and Central Illinois markets. Mr. Kueter joined UnitedHealthcare in 2001. In 2006 he was named President, UnitedHealthcare, Iowa and Central Illinois headquartered in Moline, Illinois. Prior to joining UnitedHealthcare, he was Director of Planning and Operations for Ingenix, a sister company to UnitedHealthcare. Previous professional experience includes time with Johnson & Johnson, as well as several years as an Army officer. Mr. Kueter holds a BA from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the College of Public Health, University of Iowa. He is also a Board member of the Quad Cities Chapter of the American Red Cross, Illinois Quad City Chamber of Commerce and Peoria, Illinois-based Quality Quest for Health.
