Ed Tibbetts

Ed Tibbetts has covered eastern Iowa since 1984, and has been at the Quad-City Times since 1989. Most of that time has been spent as the newspaper's political reporter. Mr. Tibbetts has covered political figures ranging from aldermen to presidents, the latter mostly by writing about Iowa's first-in-the-nation presidential caucuses. He has covered every caucus since 1996. He also writes about demographic trends in Iowa and the Quad-Cities in his blog.
