Ed Wallace

Edward Wallace joined the Iowa Taxpayers Association (ITA) as President in January 2007. He is responsible for the management, membership and legislative agenda of the business tax policy association. ITA is the only statewide organization focused exclusively on promoting a fair, equitable, and competitive tax environment for business. Since 1935, ITA has been at the forefront of nonpartisan business tax policy research, education, and issue advocacy in the state. Prior to joining ITA, Mr. Wallace worked for two years in the area of regulatory compliance with Nationwide Insurance in Des Moines, IA. He is also a former staff member for Sen. Charles Grassley in the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance in Washington, DC, and for a short time with the U.S. Department of Justice in Des Moines. Mr. Wallace received a BA from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa and is currently pursuing a MA in Public Administration from Iowa State University.
