Jeffrey Ding is a junior majoring in political science, economics, and Chinese. He has participated in policy debate for the past nine years and achieved both individual and team success on the national level. With his debate partner Liam Hancock, he won both high school national championship tournaments, the Tournament of Champions and the National Forensics League National Tournament, in his senior year of high school. In college, he represented the A. Craig Baird Forum at a public debate on Rebalancing Health Care in the Heartland Forum and won the District 4 National Debate Tournament qualifying tournament. He also currently serves as the Vice President of University of Iowa Student Government.
