Morgan Price

Morgan Price grew up in an affluent western suburb of Chicago and was in her second year of college at the University of Iowa when Woke Up Black completed filming. While being raised to be a strong black woman by her parents, she lived the majority of her life in situations where she is the only African American or one of a few.

Last year, Morgan received a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa. She has returned for a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology at the UI College of Public Health, and plans to pursue a PhD in Human Factors and Vehicle Safety with a focus in Injury Epidemiology.  She is a Graduate Research Assistant with the Human Factors and Vehicle Safety Program at the UI Public Policy Center.
