Rodney Lehnertz

Rod Lehnertz is Director of Planning, Design and Construction at the University of Iowa. His responsibilities include campus master planning, capital project management, campus space management, and leadership of the Campus Planning Committee. He started at the University of Iowa in 1994 as an Architect and Project Manager. His projects have included the new Art & Art History Building, Adler Journalism Building, the Gerdin Athletic Learning Center, renovation of the President’s residence, and the Kinnick Stadium renovation, among others. Mr. Lehnertz received his B.S. in Architecture from the University of Kansas, and his Executive MBA from the University of Iowa. He is co-author of The University of Iowa – Guide to Campus Architecture, published in 2006.
