Senator Jochum

Senator Pam Jochum was elected to the Iowa Senate in 2008, after serving in the Iowa House of Representatives since 1993. She represents the people of Senate District 14, which covers the City of Dubuque. Senator Jochum is the chair of the Administration & Regulation Budget Subcommittee and vice-chair of the Labor & Business Relations Committee. She also serves on the Judiciary, State Government, Ways & Means, Human Resources, and Appropriations committees. Her prior political experience includes serving as floor whip at the Democratic National Convention in 1984, serving as chair of the Dubuque County Democratic Central Committee in 1982. She received her AA and BA from Loras College.
