Political Entrepreneur Contigo Strategy
Bio

Stephen Viramontes is a 2nd generation Mexican-American who grew up in the majority-minority Latino community of Fresno, CA. He is a successful entrepreneur who left the corporate world as a sales and marketing executive to begin political related startup companies. Currently he is the managing-member of Contigo Strategy; a new political consulting firm dedicated to helping Republican candidates in Hispanic communities.

Like many others, Viramontes started in politics as a volunteer. In 2010, he immediately began to see the need for entrepreneurship and innovation in an industry typically known for being risk-adverse. He used his “Fortune 100” and Six Sigma background to become an expert in campaign management and grassroots organization. His strategies are directly responsible for winning numerous elections at all levels of government, and currently remains undefeated.

In 2013, Viramontes took on the role as Director with The LIBRE Initiative, a right-center Hispanic 501(c)(4) non-profit group. He helped expand LIBRE’s footprint in the Southwest by developing key relationships with many elected officials, community leaders and academics. Viramontes’ highlight was hosting the 2014 Arizona Gubernatorial Primary Election debate on Univision. This was the nation’s first all-Republican primetime debate to be broadcast to a Spanish-speaking only audience.

Viramontes earned degree in Business Communication and graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors from Arizona State University. He’s also received various certificates from Harvard, M.I.T. and Stanford. He is the founder of AssureVote, a political tech startup that makes voting easier and our elections more secure. Viramontes lives in Mesa, AZ with his wife Rachel and their three children.
