Steven Hall

Steven Hall’s research group takes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding how the biological and chemical processes of soils influence climate, water quality, and plant productivity. We work in agricultural and wildland ecosystems at local (Iowa) to continental scales. Steven received a BS and MS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a PhD from the University of California at Berkeley, and was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Utah. He has been a faculty member at Iowa State University since 2015.
