Tracy Osborn

Tracy Osborn is an Assistant Professor in the Political Science department at The University of Iowa. Her specialty is American politics, in particular, women in politics, state politics, legislative politics, and political behavior. Professor Osborn in the author of the forthcoming book, How Women Represent Women: Political Parties, Gender, and Representation in the State Legislatures. Her work has appeared in numerous journals, including Political Research Quarterly, Journal of Women, Politics and Policy, and Politics & Gender. Prior to joining The University of Iowa, she served as an Assistant Professor at Bridgewater State College. She received her BA from Loyola University and her PhD from Indiana University.
