Johnson County Awards Project Extension to Berg

The Johnson County Board of Supervisors recently approved additional funding for its research partnership with the Crime & Justice Policy research team and the Johnson County Attorney’s Office. With this additional support, Professor Mark Berg and Ethan Rogers will supervise additional data collection and continue their work on assessing disparities in case processing and sentencing in Johnson County. The project will continue through 2019. More information about the research partnership can be found here.

Professor Berg is the Director of the PPC’s Crime and Justice Policy Research Program and Associate Professor in the UI Department of Sociology. Ethan Rogers is a Research Associate for the PPC’s Crime and Justice Policy Research Program.
