Peek-Asa Selected as 2020 Presidential Lecturer

Corinne Peek-Asa, associate dean for research at the University of Iowa (UI) College of Public Health, professor in the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health, and researcher in the PPC's Transportation and Vehicle Safety Policy Research and Crime and Justice Policy Research programs, was selected to give the 37th annual UI Presidential Lecture on February 16, 2020.

Peek-Asa's research focus is injury and violence prevention. She coordinates the UI's Injury Prevention Research Center (IPRC), and recently published an article on the public health burden of gun injuries.
