Gordon Quoted in Iowa Capital Dispatch on Urban Poverty

Colin Gordon, distinguished faculty affiliate in the Social and Education Policy Research Program, was quoted in an article in the Iowa Capital Dispatch discussing the shortcomings of policymakers regarding longstanding poverty in some of Iowa's persistently poor urban areas. Gordon talks specifically about the differences between people's perceptions of rural and urban poverty, and who ultimately gets blamed for the poverty that exists in each of these places.
