ISRC Helps Vamanu Obtain IMLS Grant

The Iowa Social Science Research Center recently helped Iulian Vamanu, associate professor in the School of Library and Information Science, receive a $494,444 grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. The grant will help support a project aimed at exploring how public libraries impact local economic and social outcomes, library programs and their ability to address community stressors, and the factors that drive libraries to implement resilience-boosting programs and barriers to adoption.
