Bio
Jeremy Swanston is an assistant professor of Graphic Design in the School of Art and Art History at the University of Iowa. He received his MFA in Graphic Design from the University of South Dakota in 2015. His decade plus professional experiences include being lead designer for the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, and later the Government Publishing Office in Washington, DC. His research interests include designing multimedia products for a wide range of audiences by utilizing a human-centered design approach, focusing on the role of graphic design as a catalyst for change and a vehicle for promoting the greater social good.
